Your pet’s fur is carefully prepared, spun into yarn, and then crocheted by hand into your custom hat. Every piece is unique, carrying the natural color and character of your pet’s fur.

There are several ways to create a beautiful color-blocked design:
One pet: Separate different colors of fur from the same pet
Two pets: Combine fur from two pets to create a special keepsake representing both
Pet fur + wool: Blend your pet’s fur with wool in a desired color
Color-blocking is a wonderful way to incorporate multiple pets, work with different colors of fur, or add a favorite color to your finished hat.
For an additional $40 CAD, you can add a soft fleece lining for extra warmth and comfort. A fleece lining is especially recommended if your pet’s fur contains more guard hairs, which can make the finished yarn feel more textured against the skin.
Please note: Fur with little to no guard hairs is generally best suited for wearable items, as it will produce a softer and more comfortable finished piece. Fur with coarse or plentiful guard hairs may result in a yarn that feels more textured or prickly against the skin.
Because every pet’s fur is different, your finished hat will be completely unique—a warm and meaningful keepsake made from a little piece of your beloved companion.
Turnaround Time
Each keepsake is carefully handcrafted through a multi-step process, including preparing and spinning the fiber by hand. Because of the time and care involved — and the limited number of commissions I take on — timelines can vary.
Current turnaround is approximately 6–12 months from when I receive your fur.
Orders are completed in the order they are received, and your place in the queue is secured once your materials arrive. I’ll provide updates along the way so you know your piece is in progress.
