The Mini Pet Fur Heart is a small, hand-crocheted keepsake made using approximately 5-10 grams of your pet's fur. It's a lovely option for preserving a small amount of fur when you don't have enough for one of our larger keepsakes.
It can also be added to another FurEver Keepsakes project and made from the same yarn spun from your pet's fur, creating a sweet little companion to your larger keepsake.
The finished heart includes a hanging loop, making it perfect to display on a Christmas tree, hang in your home, or keep somewhere special as a reminder of your beloved pet.

Approximately 10 g of pet fur required
Hand-crocheted using your pet's fur yarn
Approximately 2–3 inches, depending on the fur and yarn
Includes a hanging loop
Can be ordered as a standalone keepsake or added to another FurEver Keepsakes project
Sending fur for a standalone Mini Heart? Please send approximately 10 g, plus a little extra if possible, as some fur may be lost during preparation and spinning. A half full sandwich sized ziploc bag should be the right amount.
I will always do my best to make your Mini Heart using 100% of your pet’s fur. Because every pet’s fur is different, the finished heart may vary in texture, colour, shape, and overall appearance.
If your pet’s fur is particularly short or delicate, I may need to blend in a very small amount of wool to give the yarn and finished heart a little extra strength and durability. My goal is always to use as much of your pet’s fur as possible while creating a keepsake that will hold its shape and last for years to come.
Each Mini Heart is unique and handmade specifically from your pet’s fur, so no two hearts will look exactly alike—and that’s part of what makes them special.
